In this case, the focus was on a specific product designed to hang from the ceilings, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Arktura's products come in a variety of materials, and for this project, I chose warm materials such as wood and another softer material in a brown hue. With these materials in mind, I conceptualized a kindergarten design where wood would be the predominant material, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for the children.
The use of wood not only adds a natural and organic element to the space but also contributes to a sense of comfort and familiarity. By incorporating ample natural light into the design, we aimed to further enhance the warmth and comfort of the environment, creating a space where children can feel safe, nurtured, and inspired to learn and play. The choice of materials and the emphasis on natural light were integral to creating a welcoming and comfortable space that would cater to the needs of young children.
